May and Matthew's wedding was one of the most memorable and heartfelt celebrations our team My Hero Wedding had the honour of hosting. What made their special day truly meaningful for us was the deep emotional connection that resonated throughout every moment of their event … My Hero Wedding had the privilege of hosting four sessions during their wedding, each filled with unique emotions and unforgettable memories. The traditional ceremony and luncheon in Malacca were beautifully handled by our talented Emcee Purple, while the tea ceremony in KL was gracefully led by DaiKam Jun180, and the KL luncheon was brought to life by Emcee Jniee. It was a journey that spanned multiple locations but was seamlessly bound together by love and joy.

One of the things that made this wedding particularly special was May and Matthew’s deep emotional bond. Throughout their three years together, they’ve travelled a path of mutual growth and unwavering support. The physical distance between their homes—160 kilometers—became symbolic of their love, as Matthew made the journey again and again, slowly but surely finding his way into May’s heart. For May, the right time to marry wasn’t determined by external factors like career or financial stability. It was simply about being with Matthew—the person she knew she wanted to build a future with. Their love story reflected a beautiful truth, that the perfect moment for marriage is when two hearts are ready to take the journey together, no matter the challenges along the way.

An unforgettable moment during the wedding was when the emcee began to share their love story. As their journey of love unfolded in words, May and Matthew couldn't hold back their emotions and cried non-stop. Seeing the couple so moved, along with the heartfelt reactions from the guests, created an atmosphere of profound love and connection. The second march-in brought even more excitement, as May and Matthew chose to engage their guests in a unique and fun way. As they re-entered the ballroom, they poured beer into their guests’ cups, transforming the moment into a lively celebration. The energy in the room soared, making the atmosphere incredibly joyful and unforgettable.

To add to the fun, the emcee conducted a game session that had everyone on their feet. The game brought out laughter, smiles and a spirit of togetherness among the guests. Everyone got involved, and the room was filled with happiness as the couple and their loved ones enjoyed the playful moments together.

A final, special touch was the surprise vow exchange ceremony prepared by their sister. As May and Matthew exchanged vows, the room filled with cheers and encouragement from their guests, who loudly voiced their support. It was an incredibly powerful moment, filled with love, laughter, and, of course, more tears. For us, May and Matthew’s wedding was not just another event—it was a beautiful testament to the power of love and the bonds that unite families and friends.
